Sometimes it really ain’t easy to find the best gift for travelers, especially if you are searching for something out of the ordinary selection. If you still haven’t made the right choice for your traveling buddy, then check out these 5 ideas and I am sure you will find some inspiration.

Scratch map

This was one of the first gifts I received for my B-day this year and I love it! Having visited a few countries in Europe, I was really glad to scratch them out on the map. On the other hand, I realized that there are many countries waiting on the list (especially in Europe). So this is kind of a motivation for me to travel to different places more often. If you ask me, a scratch map is one of the best gift ideas for any travel lovers.

Modern map art

I received this pretty map of New York City as a gift from Jennifer. We share the same passion – travelling and she’s been a huge fan of different maps ever since she was a child. So she merged both interests into creating beautiful city maps and selling them on her website Modern Map Art. Ask your mate about their favourite city and I am sure they won’t have any clue what it is all about. In the end, you will see how surprised their face will get receiving an art map of their fav place.

External hard drive

If you have a friend who is passionate about travelling, then be sure they have a lot of photos. And these photos can take a lot of space on their pc. An external hard drive is a great saviour for your pc drivers and performance, and a place where you can store your photo memories.

A weekend getaway

Any traveller would take the first opportunity to go somewhere during the weekend, even for a getaway. Don’t worry, you don’t need to spend a lot of money to send them on a short holiday. You can check the sites that have special offers, they often have big discounts for two. From the websites in Bulgaria, I recommend  You can search there by a filter and by price among the big variety of offers.

New adventures

Travellers love doing new and challenging things. I’ve never thought I would ever go rafting or kayaking, but both of them were very exciting. So, besides those 2 I would also try bungee jumping, skydiving, surfing, snorkelling, hiking, horse riding (some of them I have already tried, the others – well, I let my friends know what I am eager to try :D). These options are a bit pricey, but on the other hand, your gift will be long remembered.
