Pretty authentic houses in the small village of Arbanasi

Arbanasi is a small village near Veliko Tarnovo. If you happen to be in the area, you should definitely pay a visit to it. The village is known for its rich history, and for the remained 17th - 18th-century merchant's houses. Walking around, you will find numerous local restaurants in pretty green backyards. There are also many guesthouses that offer accommodation. Arbanasi is an important archaeological and architectural reserve, and a popular destination. I last visited it 10 years ago, and I remember I really loved it there.

  2. Hello Sany! What a beautiful and sweet village, wish I was there too! It reminded me the villages I used to visit when I was a kid, I traveled in the North of Italy (Alto Adige) and there were little towns like this. Your pics are dreamy, love the colors and the peaceful vibes they spread. Have a great week Sany, hugs! xo

  3. How nice that you were able to return for a visit to Arbanasi after 10 years. I haven't visited any place like it but I watch a lot of Korean variety shows and there are actually many quaint villages in South Korea that look as if they retained their original look.

To answer your question, Asian names are structured so that the last name comes first. So with a name like Ji Chang Wook - Ji is the surname and Chang Wook is his actual name. His friends would probably call him either Chang Wook or Wook. Hope your friend enjoyed the song :) Happy new week Sany!

  7. I want to live in one of those houses :) They're so adorable! You know, Bulgaria doesn't stop surprising me. There are so many places that I've "seen" thanks to you and that I want to visit, that I wouldn't know where to begin. Well, maybe with this one, who knows :)

  8. Много съм чувала за Арбанаси, но така и не съм ходила там.
Определено си го добавям в списъка за уикенд почивки. Не ни е и много далеч.
